I have Wyyred Fiber 300/300. The Wyyred ONT connects to their router — a Calix GigaSpire BLAST u6.2 (model GS4227E). The router is located at one end of my house, and the Wi‑Fi signal is weak on the opposite side.

When I called Wyyred, they weren’t helpful and just told me to rent their extenders for a monthly fee.

I read somewhere (forgot) that I could add a second GS4227E to help extend coverage and share the network load. I’m trying to figure out the correct way to connect two of these routers, and what settings need to be changed on the second one. Supposedly these Calix routers work together, unsure if it's bridge mode or something else?

The router is at one end of my house and wifi strength is low at the other end of the house. I saw somewhere I could get a second GS4227E to share the network load and spread the wifi. What is the correct way to connect the two routers and what/how do I change the second router settings. When I called Wyyred, they were useless and said I should rent their extender(s) for a monthly fee.
