Theory for ending of show
Now that we’re getting some pieces of the puzzle I think I have a good theory on what happened and what will happen.
I think that when the sacrifice happened, for them to actually all get immortality jade and Tabitha had to sacrifice their son (who was the boy in white) and because they didn’t, he has lived on as this entity and the town has become stuck in an “immortal” loop.
The only way they can get the town out of the loop is to kill their son - who is now Ethan. That’s why Christopher was nice to Victor until he wasn’t, he learnt he had to kill him. Because that incarnation Christopher and Miranda were Victors “parents”.
I don’t really know how Julie’s story walking and Ethan’s stuff ties in, but I think once they learn everything and that to leave and end the loop Ethan has to die, they ultimately won’t be able to do it. And most of the town will die, excluding Ethan, and the cycle will reset with a whole new cast and town like it did for Victor. It’ll end with the new cast and us the viewer wondering who is the new jade and Tabitha.
