Putting $5,000 down on a $32,000 car
Hello, I’m looking forward on putting down $5,000 down on a car specifically a red 2020 trd Camry which are a rare trim and color so they’ve held value well. I would be using USAA so I would get 5.99% as my rate for a 72 month term. My goal is to pay it forward faster by paying around 1,500 for the first year then reverting back to the $486.96 monthly payment. I’m gonna be starting work at a correctional facility after college because, it goes with my degrees. I just want some good advice because my parents who I still live with have done similar things in overpaying their terms with their finances. Just want some advice. Thank you for the help
Information:
733 credit score
(Projected quote) 5.99% USAA
$5,000 down
$31,888 car
Projected salary is $4,415 per month
2020 sunset red
Hey guys, just wanna get some advice, I’m looking at a red trd 2020 with 56k and it’s 31,888 for price. I do understand the red is a rarer color. My apr would be at 5.99% and I’m putting $5,000 down. I’m just wondering if it’s a solid deal or not it’ll be the first car I’d ever have bought for myself and I’d work as a CO. I know this is wordy but I’m just looking for advice. Thank you
