Successful MA

It’s been 2 weeks since I made my previous post
(https://www.reddit.com/r/Abortion\_Philippines/s/tJYvjHoogk) asking if my MA failed because my pills were locally sourced from the blue app. I took the package intended for 2–3 months pregnant based on my calendar.

Over the next two weeks, I monitored my body closely. I continued bleeding and noticed my pregnancy symptoms gradually decreased. I was able to move around normally and felt more like myself again, but I still wasn’t sure if the MA was successful since symptoms alone aren’t proof. It was an emotional rollercoaster because I never experienced significant pain, which made me think it had failed.

Yesterday, I had my first TVS. I was terrified, but I only told the clinic I may have had a miscarriage and wanted to get checked. The sonographer first did a regular ultrasound, then told me my uterus was clean with no signs of pregnancy. Considering my last period was April 1, my positive pregnancy test was May 23, and I took the pills during the first week of June, she even wondered if I had simply experienced a delayed period.

What made me skeptical was that a friend and I got pregnant around the same time and used the same procedure. When she had her TVS, she measured around 7 weeks pregnant but no heartbeat. That made me think we may have actually been closer to 5 weeks when we took the pills, meaning the embryo was still very early in development.

I returned the next day for my official results, and the doctor confirmed it was a complete miscarriage. Part of me thinks she knew what had happened, but it’s probably a common case for her. Either way, she was kind, professional, and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable.

failed ma?

i’m 2 months 6th day pregnant

yesterday i took my medical abortion. the pills were sourced from a friend (whom had a ma before) locally, where the seller/instructor were monitoring everyone taking the procedure so i trusted it.

i fasted for 12 hours and i steamed 15 minutes before i started, the first step was to insert retoc in my cerxic 4x (one by one), i had my partner help me put it inside because he was able to reach it and was instructed that it is only inserted right when you won’t feel the tablet anymore, and so we did and double checked. i had to sit on a L shape position with my feet up for an hour, after that i have to do it again (basically 2x) 8x retoc was inserted.

after that it was time to take the mifepristone, i took 4 pills and lay down for 15 minutes and took the last 4 mifepristone. before even taking the mifepristone, i already felt skeptical because i don’t feel any severe pain (i was waiting for any pain, and i know i would notice it right away because i never got cramps even during my periods) but only felt constant mild awareness.

i still continued. it was instructed to lay down for 7 hours with no heavy movement with elevated feet, where i can’t puke, pee, poo, stand up, eat nor drink. but i stood up for a bit mid rest because i stained the sheet which was probably my mistake. but after the 7 hours, i had alot of blood clots and bled alot. i fasted for almost 25 hours.

i sent pictures to my friend whom is my midman to the seller, and told me i failed (because they said the clots were the “medicine”). i’m still bleeding as of now, and was told to do excessive movement (squatting etc.) and massaging my lower abdomen for the fetus to come out. i bled alot where it would take me trips to the bathroom to change my pad. i can’t fully tell if it’s failed, or it’s too early to tell that i failed based from the seller’s messages. i’m not even sure what a fetus would look like when it finally come out, the seller just told so and said needed to do it again, but it already cost me alot and i’m scared to risk it again.

upd: it’s been 24 hours since my ma and my bleeding is not as excessive anymore but small clots still show, even after the procedure i feel normal and noticed i didn’t have my food aversions anymore.

i need help or advice on what to do next, please thank you
