M22 having relationship troubles
Me 22M and my boyfriend 24M, are currently split due to unknown reasons essentially. It was extremely random and he mentions it was due to the stuff I’d post and my political beliefs, and that he has stuff to work on with himself. He explains he understands my beliefs are there to cover me up so I’m not outed to my family but they still bother him. We haven’t seen each other for months up until a couple days ago when I showed up to his house to talk and he explained this. I’m ready to come out and we have been planning a date to see each other and talk over what’s going to happen when I do ( financially/ possibly moving in together etc, because my family isn’t a safe spot) but up until a couple days ago, we were supposed to meet and have the conversation but instead he decided we should split up instead. He says he loves me and just needs time apart and that he has some issues he has to fix his self. But I’m stressed because he’s all I’ve ever had and he’s the only person who knows about me, he’s the only person who sees me for who I am and I don’t wanna lose him. And I want him to get better but isn’t that something that couples do is work together on it?
