tribute to the series (artwork)
I just recently learned that Joseph Delaney died. The books were a staple of my childhood but I never fully got to finishing them, but I decided to read all 20 recently and draw this mural while I did. RIP Joseph Delaney, thank you for crafting such a rich and interesting world for all of us to enjoy and be inspired by.
The black and white drawing is my attempt at emulating the beautiful ink artwork from the American editions of the series...sometimes as a kid I would just open those books and look at the artwork, it was super influential to me and probably some of my favorite book artwork. Image with more color is more my style.
