Sooo....this fine Red Flag Warning ⚠️ Week that we are experiencing is compounding an already constant air quality issue in the neighborhood. There is a neighbor who smokes their meats regularly (3-4x/week minimum) via
#1 -- Non Manufactured Hand welded Smoker
#2 -- Fuel is exclusively backyard yard collections -- see pic.
(Specifically, they cultivate a 30 foot weed Tree-of-heaven and regularly snap off new growths to dry out in this yard debris bin that resides next to the alley)
Denver City Code Explicitly states
NO Solid Fuel Burn (Wood, other than store bought Pellets)
Smokers allowed for cooking IF they are MANUFACTURED (the manufactures are regulated pre-sale to ensure the venting is up to code for Particulate release & Fire Safety ) 🔥
Is this common? While most wouldn't want to consume smoked meat via backyard waste, it is this person's staple. It presents significant air quality risk as the participate released is dangerous when inhaled. What would the enforcement body be if Fire declines? DPH? CPH?

WHO DO WE REPORT THEM TO? BBB? JUSTICE DEPARTMENT??
Emma (Accounting Office) at Mystery Shopping Services [NOTE -- MSP Also identifies them as BUSINESS EVALUATION SERVICES] appears to be playing bait & switch games and avoids paying shoppers. It is June 22, 2026, 7 pm PT. I am still not paid from an April 15, 2026 Shop. On May 15th I emailed her. She appears on their website as "Accounting". She stated MSP is 45 days and I'd be paid on the run after 45 days. They pay on 15th and 30th. So that implied the 30th. Nope.
Inquired on June 5th. No response. Again June 6th. No response. Message iSS Tech Support and they immediately respond. Tell me they will inform Emma. Emma never responded. Then iSS support sent me a response she sent them complaining that she had already responded to me and that I was bothering her with my multiple messages. Funny. She never did respond to me. So I passed it along to her. That's when she lost her Sh**. She told me off for messaging iSS. After scolding me multiple times via multiple threads, I asked her again. She told me she was "waiting on Accounting". 🤔??? Website says she is Accounting. She told me she never told me I'd be paid on the 30th (despite having the implied payment promise in email). She then told me I'd be in the batch of payments sent out next day. It's now 3 weeks later. Still no payment.

In Chicago Portillos is well regarded, but not THE place as we have so many options available to us. However, with years of being teased of a Portillos coming to Denver, this is so misplaced. JUST YESTERDAY I read that they are scaling back on expansion.and holding back on opening in Colorado for a few years.
So naturally Uber Eats wants me to return by encouraging me to order PORTILLOS??? Yet there is no Portillos in Colorado????
