Cosmetic shops

Hi guys! There's a huge french cosmetic company that starts with an L. At first only one company had their contract, now it's at least 3. Does anyone know why this occurs? Is it a shift or do they just need help?

The new one pays more and the auditors are nicer so it's a happy change for me :)

I messed up…..

UPDATE:
I sent two emails and no replies. So I uploaded a blank photo. Got a reply back to make the correction. Went back and took a photo. Now, let’s see if it gets approved.

I did an oil change shop today with a nice payout…..but I forgot to take a photo of the outside. I am so mad at myself. I was so focused on recording the timing of the services and it was like 104 degrees outside….so I wanted to get inside the dealership.
I’d go back and take a photo but it’s over 30 miles away from my home and my report is due by 9am.

I sent an email to the scheduler, but it’s 9pm.
Am I screwed? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Micromoola social media task

There is a task on micromoola to create a social media account, have it verified and then hand it over to them, The pay is good but it makes me nervous that I am verifying this account and then handing it over to them. Am I overthinking this??

Deli meat shop Sassie stupidity

So I took one of the deli meat shops. I clicked to view the form, and it said, "You have to view the guidelines first." So I clicked on the Guidelines link and then clicked on the next page to download the guidelines file, and the file says, "In order to access your Shop Guidelines, you must click the “View/Submit” link in your Shop Log." So basically, several unnecessary steps because they can't get things set up properly in Sassie. And we have to go through this nonsense for every shop. Does this annoy anyone else?

And there are shops on other companies Sassie sites that don't have the Guidelines link, so it CAN be done if set up properly.

N.site Market research

Hello,

I'm very new to secret shopping and was wondering if anyone has had experience with this company? I want to make sure I choose one that's real and I don't fall for any scams. Do they pay when you complete a shop? Happy to hear the good the bad and the ugly

Has anyone tried MicroMoola for mystery shopping? Is it legit?

I got an ad for MicroMoola while looking for mystery shopping sites. Never heard of them before. They look quite new and have physical stores to visit and digital stores, the offers look quite good.

Anyone actually used them? Just wondering what the jobs are like and if they pay on time.

Fun Friday Question of the Week

What would you do to improve relationships between shoppers and companies? If you had a magic wand and could change anything, what would you abracadabra?

Is there a trick to actually claiming Field Agent jobs

I just started using Field Agent and it seemed like it would be a good option for my area. Nothing is really worth leaving the house for, but if I'm already at a store that has a job, sure, I'll take some photos

But every time I try to actually claim jobs - every single time - it says they were already claimed by someone else. I basically managed to do the free McDonalds food job and nothing else.

Are there just too many people using the app around here?

BARE International using deceptive $50 milestone listings on Upwork when real base pay is $20

Want to warn other freelancers about a deceptive listing pattern with BARE International on Upwork.

They list jobs with a fixed $50 budget and $50 milestone. However, after accepting the contract, you find out the breakdown is actually:

  • $20 base pay for the actual work.
  • $30 variable reimbursement (strictly covering an out-of-pocket drink/purchase expense).

For physical on-site evaluations, when you factor in personal transit and data costs out of that $20 base reward, you are essentially working for free or taking a net loss.

When challenged, coordinators point to fine-print text buried inside chat messages or attachments, claiming technical disclosure. Setting the headline milestone to $50 creates a false baseline for labor.

Has anyone else run into this with BARE International or similar agencies inflating headline rates with variable reimbursements?

Is there a smart way to "Store Stack"?

It seems like a waste to travel to one place, do the work and then get out. Has anyone found great ways to do multiple jobs (maybe through multiple apps/work) in one location to get more out of that location?

Photos for the deli slice shop...

Is it that hard? Concerned due to all the warnings on the posting about pictures must be exact without actually showing the picture expectations before you sign up. If you are assigned, do the guidelines have actual pictures in them to show the angle and look they want? This is the grocery store shop where you have to take photos of a deli case, and 2 other photos.

isecret shop rude scheduler

This scheduler reached out to me and asked if i could complete a mystery shop without providing any more details. I happened to be driving in the area so I originally agreed but after i read the description I realized that i would have to announce that i am a mystery shopper and i didn’t want to do that so i cancelled. out of respect for the scheduler, i texted her back explaining that i cancelled but i feel like her response was a little rude. even if i read the task wrong, considering the fact that she reached out to me first, it feels rude that she immediately had such a bad attitude with me. she could have spent the exact same energy explaining the shop to me in a way that i could have understood it more easily but immediately chose to be rude. does anyone else have any bad experience with schedulers?

Built a route management tool for field agents — looking for beta testers

I've been doing this for a while and got tired of managing everything manually — spreadsheets, maps, notes, timers all open at once. Built myself a tool to handle it and figured others might find it useful too.

Looking for a handful of experienced shoppers to try it out and tell me honestly what works and what doesn't. Free to use for testers.

What it does:

• Plan your week's stops in advance and build daily routes
• GPS routing that sequences stops by drive time from your current location
• Automatically respects time windows so you're never at the wrong place at the wrong time
• Skip or switch stops mid-route and it re-routes on the fly
• Tracks reimbursable purchases separately so they don't count as income at tax time
• Saves notes per location (codes, phone numbers, etc.) that show up automatically next visit
• GPS mileage tracking while you drive — no odometer entry, calculates your deduction automatically
• Log expenses with receipt photos tagged to each route
• Timer with real clock timestamps for your reports — one tap to copy the whole log
• Syncs between your phone and computer

Android app (also works in any browser). Still actively building based on feedback.

Good fit if you:
— Run a lot of stops per week across multiple assignments
— Want to spend less time on logistics and more time actually shopping
— Don't mind giving detailed feedback on a work in progress

Comment or DM if interested.

Ever had a scheduler who is absolutely terrible at replying back to you and ignores emails and text messages?

There is one scheduler who is absolutely terrible at getting back to shoppers, ignoring phone calls, texts, and emails. I have no clue how they even manage to do their job.

Why I made $3,000 last month in total comp.

Quality goes far.

People complain about lack of shops, but the schedulers give the shops only to the creme.
