Referral and order issues

So I sent my folks a referral link to buy and test drive a Tesla. After their test drive, the rep helped them order their Tesla on his iPad. My parents did tell him that I referred them, as he could see with their test drive reservation. He knew this but proceeded to order the car without my referral code. My parents thought he had added it because not only would I be credited $250 but they would get 3 months of FSD. Well they took delivery yesterday and with all the lights and now on their car, while being overwhelmed with the downloading of the app and getting settled, there was no mention of there being a referrer or not being one by that specialist. Even after my parents once again said that I referred them and were so excited to get their car.

(I know all this to be true because I was FaceTiming them when they picked up the car, even saying hi to the person helping them)

Well about 2 hours after getting the car and driving off my mom got an email stating that their FSD will expire in a month and she called me. I told her no, it should be three months.

The advisor that helped them said there was nothing he could do and offered either, 3 months of premium connectivity or a month of super charging for me. My car has both of these already included so it means nothing to me. I told them, I was going to use the $250 to buy my parents the all weather floor mats and the Tesla backpack for myself. They still said they cannot accommodate that request. When we asked to speak to someone higher up, they said there wasn’t anyone.

This whole experience has soured the excitement of getting a Tesla for my parents and has tainted my view on the referral program.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Is there anything I can really do?
