I’ve recently been invited to the technical interview stage for the Graduate Consultant Software Engineer 2026 role at Softwire

I was wondering if anyone here has gone through the process before and could share:

• What the technical round is like
• Difficulty level of the coding questions
• Whether it focuses more on algorithms, system design, OOP, debugging, or practical coding
• Any tips on what the interviewers value most
• How best to prepare in the final few days

On 9th May, I received around £360 into my Monzo account from a Binance P2P transaction. Shortly after, Monzo locked the funds/account for review.

Today (12th May), I received an email saying they’ve decided to close my account.

I’m really stressed because the £360 is still in the account and I need that money back. They haven’t explained much besides saying they’re closing the account in line with their terms.

Has anyone been through this with Monzo before?

• How long does it usually take to get remaining funds returned?
• Will they transfer the money to another bank account automatically?
• Is there anything specific I should say to support to speed it up?
• Does Binance P2P automatically trigger these issues with UK banks?

For context, the money was from crypto P2P trading on Binance and not from anything illegal/fraud-related.

Any advice would help a lot.

Hi everyone,

I finally got to a technical interview for the Graduate Software Engineer role at Visa (Cambridge), specifically with the Featurespace team (fraud detection / financial crime). This is scheduled early next month.

The interview is 90 minutes and includes:

• General technical questions
• A deep dive into a past project
• A live coding / pair programming exercise, with feedback and iteration

I was told to brush up on:

• Core programming concepts
• Writing clean, efficient code under time constraints
• Reviewing code and responding to feedback

Would love to know if anyone have same experience with Visa Featurespace. This will be my first interview in 5 month so I don't want to butcher it up hence prepping everything I could find. If you guys have any advice and materials to review, that would be a great help. Thanks a bunch!
