Is Danbury 311 even active anymore?
I’ve been trying to reach 311 at different times of day for multiple issues and every attempt ends up in a loop of automated recordings with no clear path to an actual person or resolution. I’m curious if anyone else has had the same experience recently, or if there’s a better way to get responses from the city.
311 services are supposed to be an important public access point for reporting concerns, getting information, and connecting residents to city services. If people can’t reliably reach it, what accountability exists? Are there service standards, response requirements, or obligations the city is supposed to meet for operating 311?
Not trying to complain for the sake of it. genuinely wondering whether this is a temporary issue, understaffing, or a bigger problem. Has anyone had success getting through?
