Looking for some places to eat this week. Taking any breakfast, lunch, or dinner recommendations

I’ve been trying to reach 311 at different times of day for multiple issues and every attempt ends up in a loop of automated recordings with no clear path to an actual person or resolution. I’m curious if anyone else has had the same experience recently, or if there’s a better way to get responses from the city.

311 services are supposed to be an important public access point for reporting concerns, getting information, and connecting residents to city services. If people can’t reliably reach it, what accountability exists? Are there service standards, response requirements, or obligations the city is supposed to meet for operating 311?

Not trying to complain for the sake of it. genuinely wondering whether this is a temporary issue, understaffing, or a bigger problem. Has anyone had success getting through?

Preferably that take UMR or accept out of pocket

heard some influencer visited the school without permission both today and yesterday, but who the hell was it that influenced about a quarter of the school to run down hospital ave to get a picture with him on the forest ave intersection??? didn't see his face and certainly didn't recognize him, but he was a short bald indian dude

Looking for places that have bulletin boards or will happily hang flyers for local non-profit and DIY events apart from libraries. All ideas welcome!

Also open to any recs on zines, substacks, etc. for events in the area.

Hello. Can anyone recommend a primary care doctor that has less waiting times? Thank you in advance!

We’ve been looking into options because our dog has become a little too confident chasing squirrels toward the road 😅 Traditional fencing for our property would be crazy expensive, especially with the terrain (deep rocks and a bunch of trees I don't want to pay $4k to remove.)

Curious if anyone has had good experiences locally with underground dog fence companies, especially with training/support afterward. I’ve heard to steer clear of the big national brands. Looking local.

Would love any recommendations or advice from other dog owners in the area.

I am still new to the Danbury area and my parents are visiting for the first time! With that said I wanted to ask for 2 things!

1. My mom has Brazilian heritage and I really wanted to take her to a Brazilian restaurant (I’ve been told Danbury has Brazilian food options)! Any recommendations? Hopefully a nice style restaurant!

2. Any recommendations on things to do in the area? Hopefully no more than an hour drive, but haven’t had the chance to explore too much so would love some suggestions!
