Sesame is still the best out there by far.

ChatGPT's new live voice model pales in comparison to Sesame still, don't know how the others haven't caught up. There are slight things about the cadence and intonation of the voice, as well as the mannerisms, that just make it feel far more authentic than all the others.

Doing Sleep Restriction Therapy/CBT-I, how do I deal with eye burn?

Hey! I've started doing SRT/CBT-I at the suggestion of my sleep doctor a few days ago, and honestly, it's not too bad, sleeping only 6.5hrs a night.

The only thing that's getting me now is the eyes burning. I have some preservative-free eye drops that help but they don't help for long, and I want to keep going with the program since otherwise I don't feel too bad, but this will be the thing that breaks me if it does. Is there any remedy that helps with this? Was thinking Ibuprofen might help since allegedly it is the conjunctiva that is inflamed which is causing the pain. Any other suggestions or remedies that have helped you guys?

Can't stay asleep for the last two or three hours of my night.

I usually sleep 8-9 hours, wake up once to pee in the middle of the night, however that has changed as of about 2-3 months ago.

Since then I've been waking up 2-3 hours before I normally do, but falling back asleep and waking up after that, anywhere from 3 to 10 times in that space. I could fall back asleep at 7:45, and wake up again at 8:10. Again from 8:10 to 8:30. Sometimes the gaps are 15 minutes, sometimes an hour. I have zero clue why. Long-release melatonin doesn't do anything although it helps me fall asleep. Magnesium glycine makes me more groggy when I wake up at those last few hours but I still wake up and fall back asleep again and again. I do not have a problem falling asleep, or sleeping for about the first six hours of my night. I do not feel particularly stressed about anything (and I've had periods of my life where I was far more stressed, where I slept far better). Also having caffeine or not having caffeine (being 40mg or so, since the only real caffeine I'd have in a day would just be like a can of Coke) also doesn't make a difference.

Also, simply waking up the first time I wake (say, at 7am) as opposed to trying to sleep through it, is not tenable since I just go the whole day being sleep deprived, affecting my work and all my leisure activities. If I sleep earlier at night (say instead of 12am, I go to sleep at 11pm), the waking episodes just happen earlier in the night, resulting in no real difference in the sleep I get.

I'm seeing a sleep doc soon but I have had sleep tests/sleep labs done in the past and they came back with no issue, though this is a new issue I'm dealing with right now.

Anyone with a similar experience, or any ideas on how I might work towards fixing this?
