Build a Custom CRM for a Tennis Centre

Hello,

I manage a tennis and Pickleball Centre.

I want to design my own CRM system that is tailored to our needs. We do have one that we use but have a host of limitations associated with it that makes working with it more complicated than it should be.

We don't have API access available to our current system, which also makes it difficult to integrate with other applications that we use.

The system that I want to make should ideally be able to handle weekly lesson bookings, invoicing, casual court hire and functions and also let us send texts and emails and also let players view their bookings using either an app or an online portal.

Would love to get some direction on this.

Character limit on Text to Android Users

(Posted this in the r/Iphone sub as well)

I manage a medium business and we have used iMessage (linked to an iPhone 14) to communicate with our clients and to send all marketing related texts.

Over the last 2 weeks, we have encountered a weird issue where we can't send messages to Android users longer than 14 characters. It doesn't even show that it hasn't been delivered. It just sends the text as usual but the recipient never gets them. Anything within 14 characters goes as usual.

I reset the iCloud/iMessage accounts and even cleared the cache on our Mac Mini (M4) and it got fixed for a few days but the issue is back again. I even removed the associated devices to the account and paid for iCloud storage but none of that worked. I even tried to enable/disable "Retry as SMS"/iMesage and MMS which had no effect at all. I tried to send the text from the phone directly but it doesn't get delivered. The devices linked to the apple account all sync fine and Messages shows texts sent from other devices like it should.

I got on call with Apple Technical Support and they didn't know what to do either. I called the Telstra Technical support and they asked me to contact Apple after they failed to diagnose the issue.

iMessage works perfectly fine to iOS users (groups/individual texts) but we have the 14 character limit with Android users. I can send photos to them but can't send texts.

I'm aware that RCS isn't enabled in iPhones in Australia yet while Android's have had them for years but in the 6 years I've worked for the business, we have never encountered an issue like this.

We've had the iPhone for a year now and had an iPhone X before this and it worked just fine.

The only thing I haven't tried is to get a new iPhone but I fear that since RCS isn't enabled in iPhones, that won't fix it.

So, hoping to get a solution from you all.
