I‘m looking for insurance for my 9-year-old mixed breed medium sized 55lb male puppy dog. I have been looking for months. I go down the rabbit hole hard every few weeks and then get overwhelmed and just give up. Today I got quotes from Lemonade, MetLife, and Trupanion. I’m in WA state so Physicians Mutual is NOT available for me.

I believe I have narrowed it down to Trupanion, but right before I decided to check out I stumbled upon the Chewy Trupanion plan that has the once-a-year deductible instead of a per condition deductible.

What am I missing in these 2 plans? Why is the one from Chewy so much more? I have added every option for both. Trupanion is $155 a month and the Chewy is $257.
