what do you wear your Crocs for? looking to get my first pair!

hi!

I really like the mega crush sandals and I've never had Crocs before. I really love the look of them and I'd like to wear them to style them in an alternative, goth type of way, so I'd like to get a pair. but I've never had Crocs before, I've heard doctors say you shouldn't wear them for long because they offer virtually no support. thing is, I'm a chronic vans and converse wearer, so I'm no stranger to that, even with my flat, 90 degrees feet, although I walk long distances and wear sporty shoes when I have to, but I'd like something comfortable and breezy for the summer, I think they'd be alright for that.

so I'd like to know from you, the experts, what you wear them for, and what outfits you wear them with, too. :)

Circuits of Fever appreciation post

okay I'm not the biggest fan of this band but I've been loving this song so damn much since discovering it. been a fan of theirs for a year now and I tried looking for any other bands that sound like them and came empty handed lol. I've been into post-hardcore for a while and still cannot find anything like them... and that makes me sad but only deepens my love for them. they're just so so special and I can't believe how underrated they still are.

what I love about this song is how much it encapsulates that eerie, dark and brooding thing about them that I find so special and unlike many others in this genre. that weird distorted and creepy intro gets me every time, it only gets you into the mood because what comes next is even better... the chorus is so fucking awesome and it makes you feel like you're flying, makes you feel so heavy inside. Geoff's voice shines so much in this song, I don't know if it's the production doing it for me but it sounds heavenly (more than usual!!) and reminds me of Chino's vocals in White Pony somehow which I fucking adore... I love the droning background melody from the intro buried behind everything too. just so many layers man, you don't usually get this in post-hardcore. the drumming work is fucking awesome especially towards the end and the last bit is so fucking amazing, I come from a progressive rock background and this reminds me of some of my favorite bands, Anathema and Porcupine Tree, and again, not something most bands from the genre do. beautiful soundscapes all throughout. then it hits you again with the chorus, another dissonant and beautiful melody builds up again and it all comes crashing down in the end. PERFECTION 10/10 wish I could get it injected in my veins. I'm probably not making sense at all but I don't care I fucking love this band and I wanna hear other people's opinions on this song!!

uk 7 vs uk 8 size differences?

hi guys, found a pair of really cool used 1460s but they're an 8. I'm a 7 in most shoes but dr martens fit kinda tight. i have two pairs, my Mary Janes are a 7 but my toe touches the tip if I stretch my toes, I don't notice it when walking so it's not an issue. I also have a pair of 1460 pascals that are 6uk and those do hit the toes when walking, doesn't hurt though and doesn't bother me but it's not ideal.

would an 8 be much different? i don't think so because my 7s are already kind of tight, so i could try. they don't allow returns though so I'm kinda worried but they're a really cool made in England pair in good condition anyway, I refuse to buy a brand new pair because when i tried, they were WAY too stiff and strange, so i only get used pairs :)
