Just Venting where Son doesn't see Because...
He's made me crazy! ha! Well not completely, but some days.
To preface this, I'll give the sit/rep.
I'm 65, disabled, and forced to retired 30+ year RN. 3 kiddos. Son is youngest 29 in a few days. He's always lived with me. He works his ass off full time in a factory. No issues with work or contributing monetarily to a point. I do have to remind him, and he whines but he does cover what he is supposed to of our shared bills.
We are both online gamers. I played WoW for years with him, and now play Diablo III and IV and he plays Starcraft II, Warcraft and several other games with his friends. He games from time he gets home to sleep, and time he gets up to work.
That said, he has no car of his own. So he is driving mine. And it has no licence plate because I became disabled shortly after I got it and didn't have the $1400 to title it. Shite happens and kept happening. Like a cascade of crap luck. I ended up selling 35/40 acres, moving onto the 5 acres with son, putting a modular on that etc. Son was supposed to help me set it all up so I could manage all on my own including things like a few raised bed gardens, moving the 4 dogs runs and setting them back up and installing a small dog yard for my 3 dogs. I had sold all my horses, dairy goats, but kept the chickens. In the long run, due to his lack of care, I got rid of the chickens too a couple of years ago when he didn't keep his bargain on them. (help me feed/water and move the hut for about 10 hens).
2 raised beds got built... but... never moved to the correct place or filled with dirt... 2 years ago. Sitting and basically growing weeds and rotting.
I have grown some veggies in the 10-50 gal. grow bags on the back porch but it's sub par.
He put up one dog run for his German Shephard, but if I have to leave town, there is no place for my 3 standard LH Dachshunds and no one to watch them because they have to stay inside and be let out 3 x a day. He also took the very expensive chain link panels and put them on the ground INSIDE his dogs run instead of fixing the holes she dug with the cement 12" x 12" stepping stones I bought for him to fix it with and now 2 of my panels are buried in mud and poo...
He put the rest leaned against the house where a tree has grown up thru them, deforming one badly. *sigh* We are talking specialized show dog kennels that are $800 to 1k a panel bought when I was working and could afford that. Irreplaceable as company has gone out of business even if I could afford it which I cannot.
Bought trees, he forgot to water, even after I'd remind.. you know, normal kids stuff... but he's not a kid any more. He just doesn't want to live on a small farm, and I'm ok with that, but don't tell me you did it and you did not. Take care of your own dog. I've said I was going to rehome her, and he mans up about it, then stops again. So, last week, he had a piss fit because he got pulled over after 3 years for no tags. Left, moved into friends house. I have no issue with this EXCEPT. We had discussed him moving out a week before and agreed he would move at end of month, and he would clean before he left: His room, his bathroom, his mess in the living room and kitchen, and laundry. I mean, hoarder level mess.
Now, I'm FAR from perfect. I am a reformed hoarder. I am trying VERY hard to stay that way. This sets me so far back to have to clean this up and I have to admit, I taught him to behave this way. But gods be damned, to have to clean this up again and again and talk to him. I'm cleaning up where he tent camped 4 years ago and ran the lawnmower over a raked and cleaned area? And hit a friggin propane can! A small one, and thank god empty but it was supposed to be cleaned out already! AAAAAAAAHHHH!! Scared the bejesus out of me when that thing went POP!!! and a piece of shrapnel flew!
So for last 3 days, *I* have been cleaning it because my Mom is coming over and at 86.. well, she is not up to the filth level he left behind. I haven't even gotten to the nuclear Chernobyl that is his bathroom yet, and I've hauled out 7 bags of trash from kitchen alone. Left his bedroom door closed. He has been doing 90% of the cooking because I've refused to clean up after him for the last year, so that IS all HIS mess. If I cook or even make a sandwhich, I leave NOTHING out. I clean what I cook with before and after. I've run the dishasher 2 x and filling it a 3rd now. My pain level is through the roof. I called and asked him, are you coming over to help? No, because playing Magic the Gathering is more important.
Please? Is it legal to kill and the resurrect and then kill and then..... ? No? Still? Are you sure? Damn....
