Front Facing Carrier Recommendations
I currently have a 7mo, who was born early and small. Following the 1st percentile charts in weight. He is currently 14lbs and 68cm long.
We loved the Ergobaby Embrace carrier for him once he was old enough to wear it so I purchased an Ergobaby 360 secondhand months ago when I saw it at a great price.
We are now at the point where he wants to be able to see everything and gets very frustrated in the Embrace so I want to move to something that can be front facing for the summer. He can sit nearly unassisted so I believe we’re almost ready for it.
I tried on our Ergobaby 360 to see how he fit in it and to determine if we would need a newborn insert. I absolutely hated the feel of it. The H straps were so uncomfortable and it was not nearly as supportive feeling as the Embrace. When we tried front facing, the pillow was slowly riding above baby’s chin because he is so small.
Any recommendations for another carrier option? Unfortunately we don’t have any carrier libraries to try things on in my area. We’re in Canada so would need something accessible here. TIA.
