Why do so many people have misconceptions about how Gyokko's teleportation works?

His teleportation does NOT require him to set up vases beforehand. He summons the vase and teleports to it in the same instance. Muichiro literally points this out and people are still getting it wrong. Also, he can summon his vase practically anywhere, as seen when he summoned it under the ground during episode 9 of the Swordsmith Village Arc.

Anime I watched years ago that I never got to finish, can't find it for the life of me. Was a fantasy.

I dont remember a lot of the details, but I'll put down what I do remember in case somebody can find it off of that.

The main character was the son of a prominent general in the nation's army (was very clearly based on feudal japan), and he didn't want to lead an army so he left home in search of adventure.

Crossing through the mountains he formed a party with a child (or just a childish appearing adult) who had some sort of mystical beast pet with them, and a half orc. One scene shows gods or demi gods playing a game of shogi or chess with the board being the world.

In a later episode they come across a village that had just been pillaged by orcs, and the villagers were prejudiced towards the half orc. They went into the forest to deal with any stragglers and encountered a girl whose lower half was that of a snake, she had black clothing, and black hair with red ribbons. This was as far as I got before the YouTube playlist I watched it on ended.

5 years later and I have had no luck finding it. If anyone has any suggestions for what it could possibly be based on my vague memory of it, please leave a comment below! It would be greatly appreciated.

Marked Muichiro vs. Gyokko (base & final form) is NOT a low diff fight, and I'll explain my reasons as to why.

While the fandom can wholeheartedly agree (at least I hope so) that Gyokko no diffs base Muichiro, the roles tend to get reversed when talking about markee Muichiro vs Gyokko. And while yes I do agree Muichiro wins most of the time, it isn't a clear cut 10/10 rounds he wins. I'd say more like, 6 out of 10. Now why do I think this?

Let's start with their first clash after the mark manifests. Gyokko's full undivided attention is on Kanamori and Haganezuka, when Muichiro tries to sneak attack him. He notices the attack, retreats into his vase, and puts distance between himself and Muichiro. His shoulder got grazed sure, but that's not a lethal blow. Secondly, he activated his blood demon art Octopus Vase Hell faster than the Hashira could react, leading to his capture. (His dull blade did play a part in this yes, but if that was the only issue he could've used his sheer speed to counter the attack.)

Upon the second release of Octopus Vase Hell, Muichiro countered it with 5th form, but even then he had to maintain a high travel + combat speed to dodge and slice up the tentacles. Gyokko makes a retreat into his pot and reappears on a tree branch, with his neck cut. Similarly to how Giyuu cut Akaza's neck, just downscaled to weaker fighters. It's here where Gyokko shows off his fastest speed feat in base form. He teleports behind Muichiro, and even catches him off guard as he gets prepared to launch the attack. This means that Muichiro likely didn't even see him move, and was only aware of his changes position because of sound cues.

This segment is anime only, but the material is still canon. Just expanded. A third use of Octopus Vase Hell is used, preceded by an amplified Thousand Needle Fish Kill. Muichiro makes quick work of the fish, but is forced into a much more athletic state against the tentacles. Twisting and turning mid air at that speed is proof that he was starting to push his body past his limits (His brother's words during this scene supports my claim as well, at least narratively speaking.

Ten Thousand Glidijg Slime Fish. The most dangerous aspect of this was never the fish themselves, but the poison. Think about it. You slice a concentrated stream of TEN THOUSAND fish, which will disperse over a wide area. That poison will rain down on you like acid rain, and can be absorbed through the skin. Once it gets in your system, you're done. No chance of survival. The fact that Muichiro had the intuition to spray the fishes away after slicing them is a testament to his sheer intuition.

Marked Muichiro vs base Gyokko is low diff at BEST and mid diff at WORST. Now for the matchup against final form Gyokko. If Gyokko had been serious when he used his godlike hands, he would've continued attacking even after Muichiro fled up a tree. Upon activation of Killer Fish Acales, he started slithering around the marked Hashira, who while parrying his attacks, was unable to launch any offensive maneuvers. He once more managed to blitz Muichiro, and nearly killed him with a fist to the back of the head, but he used 7th form. It took Muichiro using his most powerful technique to get the upperhand over Gyokko, who previously despite being unserious was going toe to toe with him. That being said, the conclusion to that battle in my opinion is mid diff at best and high diff at worst.

Muichiro is an outstanding fighter for being able to overcome a battle against one of the strongest and most experienced characters in the series, and Gyokko is an outstanding fighter for being able to adapt to an insane power amp that hadn't existed since Yoriichi's time.

How good is Uzui Tengen's auditory perception based on this feat?

During episode 5 of the Entertainment District Arc, we see the Sound Hashira pull off this superhuman feat (If I see one person claim the demon slayers are normal humans so help me God).

Based on how quickly he heard the sound, and how quickly he covered the distance to get to the exact spot where Daki's food locker was located, what sort of ability cues would he be able to notice?

He also displayed another auditory perception feat in episode 9 when he ascertained the exact technique Gyutaro was about to use just by the sound of his blood leaving his veins, so my question isn't unfounded. I'm just curious to see what abilities he could figure out.
