Carpenter ant? Went from seeing one a few weeks ago to seeing ~ten yesterday
Tried to get a picture of it with a q tip for sizing. These are all taken on a stair landing to the basement / an outside cat porch. Only place I have seen them. I think they are carpenter ants but I haven't seen any wood piles + only see them during the day, which is apparently odd for them based on my googling
