It's been over 10 months since I got broken up with by someone. it was totally unexpected and kinda turned my life upside down. I deal with a lot of anger towards this person now and just sadness over the situation.

Even though its been so long, I think about this person every single day without fail. Sometimes it's just reminiscing, other times it's full-on fake conversations between him and I in my head and arguing and hateful things. I'm waiting for the day where i wake up and can say "wow i didnt think about him yesterday!" but it hasn't happened so far, and I'm not sure if it ever will.

Does anyone else have this problem? When will it go away? I'm trying to find the line between obsessive thoughts and just normal healing.

I used chatGPT voice mode today, and she sounds like she's been lobotomized or is high on somethihg. The answers are much shorter (single sentence or few words), the speech is notably slower, and any answers to questions are much more basic and without nuance.

Was there an update to chat that makes this difference? Is anyone having the same problem?
