Board politics

Fellow supers, how are you dealing with your boards not listening to your advice/knowledge? I'm sure it's universal and most boards are filled with complete monkeys. However, I feel like mines taking a turn for the worse this year and I could use some advice on politics/strategies. Without a long backstory for context it's hard to paint a full picture so: I'd just like some tips and tricks to reign them in a bit.

TLDR; tired of being told how to do my job and not being trusted as the professional I am. Any ideas?

HOC changing when tightening carriage bolt.

I’m sure this is a universal experience, but I’m curious if anyone has found a solution to it? Talking about tightening the carriage bolt nut that holds the roller arms in place, when tightening it seems to shift HOC sometimes, but not always. Same with adjusting HOC on one side leading to opposite side having HOC adjusted by .001.

I initially thought this was because the roller arms were being articulated on the opposite end when tightening the carriage bolt nut, because it was putting tension on the arm.

However, after attempting to fix this today by changing the arm angle on my rollers, it seems to have made the problem worse.

Anyone have a fix for this besides just learning every single bit of play in your reel? I’m so tired of it lmao

in case someone asks: Jacobsen Gplex 3 reels.
Also happens w our Jacobsen fairway reels
