The boys had a big fight with each other and were no longer friends, and matt literally started fucking crying like charlie brown where he looks up and only his mouth was visible, and then the next day I looked at their YouTube channel and like 99% of their videos were privated, but every 2016 video was still up for some reason, and the few modern videos that weren't privated were still up but had their thumbnails changed to the exact same image of matt on a yellow background with red MS paint text that said whatever podcast episode number it was, and then the boys made up with each other and me and both of them went to watch Pixar's UP (my favorite movie) in a big theater with a curved screen and the Simpsons movie dome was in the film for some reason, also the boys shared a big box of popcorn together and were happy THE END

It usually happens in a scene where a major character is revealing or explaining something thats seen as confusing or absurd. It'll show two characters looking forward, then for a brief moment without turning their faces they'll side eye each other for a second and then look forward again.

This is usually done as a quick gag to convey confusion or disbelief within the characters, and I believe sometimes its done when the 2 people looking at each other are caught in the act of doing something, and the trope is done as a way for them to be like "what do we do now?"

unfortunately I have no examples of this but I am 100% sure its a named trope cause ive seen it in dozens of films or TV shows before
