Is anyone else having issues with duplicate, “invalid format” ROM files for Azahar?

EDIT: issue has been solved. For some reason I never thought to go into the native Files app on the Thor to manually delete the duplicate file. Thank you to all who responded or upvoted for visibility!

Every time I unzip a 3DS ROM file and transfer it to my SD card, I open Azahar and see a duplicate file for every game I download. I can’t see the file itself when I open the SD card in Finder on my MacBook.

  1. Is there a way to delete it or have it not show up?

OR

  1. When I install a frontend will that file disappear/not show up?

I’m new to all of this so apologies for the bother.
