Silent switches with inconsistencies?

I recently built my first keyboard. Neo 60 core with TTC blueish white v2 silent switches. After making sure all my switches are snapped into place and my pc plate being even all around I noticed that some of my switches are louder than others. I thought it might be my keycaps but after swapping them around, this was not the issue. I want to say about 60% of my switches when pressed make a more thocky sound and have more of a snap to them when released. The other 40% of switches sound fantastic, very silent bump with hardly any noise on release. I’m not sure if this is just inconsistency with the switch manufacturer or it’s something else my noob self can’t figure out. I’m not using any find of foam padding currently but have tried and it did not help. Any advice on what I might be experiencing?

I wasn’t able to find a specific subreddit that is used for mechanical keyboard guide so I thought I might post here for advice since it might be switch related.

Did BestBuy scam me?

I saw an S95F 83” on Best Buy open box for close to 1800 USD. It was labeled as excellent condition which I hardly ever see for open box. The sales rep told me that someone had just returned it and they inspected it and saw no oled burn in. He also assured me that the guy bought it to watch his favorite team in the World Cup and returned it when his team lost. Given these facts I trusted that the tv would have very little hours in only a months use and purchased it.

After I brought it home and ran a burn in oled test video, I immediately saw these extremely visible marks. I feel like I got scammed, I have warranty and plan to return it tomorrow but the hassle I went through to get this tv into my car and my living room. How are they just allowed to sell TVs with this clear of a burn in???

Open box OLED tv worth it?

Hello, my family is moving into a new home and I wanted to get a nice big oled tv for my parents. They watch a ton of tv and I’ve been looking at some open box deals from Best Buy. I’m seeing a lot of these tvs (LG C5, G5, Samsung S95F) for close to 2,000 USD. This seems like a steal for me considering there regular price tags for 83 inches are over 3,500 USD. Are these considered good deals or is it just common for these open box tvs to be 1700-2300 USD?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I’m currently looking at getting an open box LG G5 83 inch for about $2,200.
