Have you ever put stuff on your registry that was for other people to use for your baby?
When reviewing my registry with MIL, at one point she kept lamenting about wanting a car seat also, for her car. And she didn't explicitly state that she wanted me to do this, but kept going on about it as if I should add two car seats to my registry so that she could have one also.
I thought that was kind of weird? Like if you want one then either buy one, or ask your own family to help you with one. But idk, seems odd for me to add duplicates of items to my registry just so MIL can have her own version of it. She's already buying herself a crib and swinger and changing table for her own home for the baby (more than I have already), so don't know why the car seat is now something I'd have to worry about for her. For the record, she lives a short drive away, I think she is overestimating how often she is even gonna be driving away with baby in her own car, especially a newborn with a SAHM 🙈
I'm not like upset about it or anything, she just has a really roundabout way of talking that maybe I'm misinterpreting, so I'm just curious if any of yall had family try to get you to add duplicates so they could have their own versions of it.
