Husband’s first appt tomorrow-questions to ask??

Appreciate all the great info shared here. Husband (52) first appt tomorrow. Would love any suggestions so he’s prepared with questions.

So far;

-Is easing into it ok, or better to get right up there level wise then tweak dose…? (I’m on female dose of T for perimenopause symptoms & went super slow to ensure I didn’t have negative side effects. FYI for any women struggling with low T symptoms, totally recommend!).

-Related to easing into, hoping for a slow burn increase to libido. My libido is way better now, but I’m not ready for twice daily action LOL.

-Any concern for TRT with daily Adderall XR on board? He’s been on it for years so it’s a maintenance med.

-Ball shrinkage-can the extent be mitigated or is it full on once TRT starts?

-Volume-will his *load dramatically decrease in volume, or can that be mitigated as well?

I’m so thankful he’s gonna give this a try, I’ve been subtly suggesting since I started & he’s come around (he got pretty dejected about it when PCP said point blank I’ll test your level but I won’t treat you for it, like he didn’t even believe in TRT-it was weird).

Thanks in advance!

E labs (related to T)

T relevance; changed to E injections to optimize T

General question, not specific advice/guidance.

I blew my estrogen level out of the water. Valerate dosing was way too high (I’ll leave dosing & lab levels out of post as not looking for medical advice on that-I know the error was being too aggressive which is ironic as I’ve tiptoe’d with the T)

I stopped the Valerate as of 5/6. Planning another lab draw tomorrow to see where I’m at one week later, before resuming at lower dose.

What do you know re;half life? Any \*general, not advice\* thoughts on how much the E level would bump down in one week?

Thanks! Appreciate any thoughts.
