Anyone else’s marriage get awkward due to the change in sex drive?

So before T, my wife and I had sex about once a month on average. Nowadays, I am ready to go every day, and she preferred the previous version. It feels kind of sad, but we’ve been married a long time and she’s been happy with the way things were.

Will TRT help my numbers?

Okay first off new here, I have a lot of labs to post hope that’s okay.

My doctor thinks TRT is a great option for me, she wants to do a non fasted panel first before started to see how low my testosterone drops during the day.

I have been training for 10 years had amazing body composition. Then I had an injury, I injured my SI really bad, couldn’t walk for like 2-3 weeks. Recovered from that then we moved into a new house and just stress on top of stress.

So I have my numbers from 3 years ago, my numbers from 1 year ago and my numbers now.

First picture 788 was 3 years ago, 2nd one was just a year ago not total T just free and estrogen which was considered high, last two pictures are from now where my numbers have dropped not by a lot but my estrogen tanked.

My symptoms are low energy, joint pain, sleep is awful, can’t get pumps anymore, when I work out it’s like it takes everything out of me and I need a week to recover. Libido is okay though that hasn’t changed too much. Definitely hold a lot more water and struggle to lose weight even on a deficit. My concern is will TRT be the solution or cause more issues? I know for everyone it’s different, some people it changes their life in a positive way and others not. Guess just a little scared to be honest.

Wife's Testogel 50mg

TLDR; have my wife's Testogel, should I take it and how much

I developed Multiple Sclerosis 10 years ago, it got bad 3 years ago. It went a long way towards ruining my life. But it could be worse

Still perfectly able bodied, fatigue kills me. Used to go to gym 4 times per week, got in good shape

Rejoined the gym 1 year ago and last 3 months the fatigue has lifted(gave up dairy)

Anyway, starting to make progress again and happy with how I'm looking in the mirror.

I'd love a little extra boost. My testosterone level is 15.6, pretty normal I think. I don't want to go nuts or anything, but I'd really like to be on the higher end of the normal range, no more

Should I take this gel to get there, how much, and would it help if I'm only prepared to go to high normal?

Also side effects, am I worried for nothing thinking about going bald and all the rest?

The Multiple Sclerosis makes me feel like this could be my last chance to get in the shape I've always wanted

40 kg skeletal muscle mass

Anyone else have great erections when first starting TRT, then have them fade as testosterone levels increased?

Looking for others who have experienced something similar.

I’m 47 and switched from pellets to testosterone cypionate injections about 9 weeks ago. ( 200 mg weekly split in two injections)For the first 5–6 weeks, my erections were incredible. Morning wood every day, stronger erections with my wife, and everything seemed to be working better than it had in years.

Over the last few weeks, though, my erections have declined. Morning erections have mostly disappeared, erections aren’t as firm during sex or masturbation, and I sometimes need Trimix when I didn’t before.

My recent trough labs (drawn Monday morning before my injection after a Thursday morning injection) were:

Total Testosterone: 1,658 ng/dL
Free Testosterone: 201.7 pg/mL
SHBG: 52
Estradiol: 89 pg/mL
Hematocrit: 54.2%

My TRT doctor wants to keep my testosterone dose the same because my body composition and gym performance have improved significantly.

Instead, he increased my DIM dose and plans to recheck labs in 3 months. If estradiol is still high, he’ll consider adding an aromatase inhibitor.

Has anyone experienced something similar where erections were fantastic when starting TRT but declined once your testosterone and/or estradiol increased? If so, what ended up being the cause, and what fixed it?

I’m interested in hearing real experiences rather than just theory.

Raising T while in Europe

Going on test at age 40 / 577 ng/dL

Been having intermittent low mood the last couple of year, libido is nowhere near what it used to be, morning wood has pretty much gone

In work out around 3-4 times per week, usually 1 hr progressive overload and 10 mins cardio at the end

I’m 40 yr old, 86.5kg, around 20% BF, just had bloods done showing 577 ng/dL which I believe is bang on average?

Been thinking of jumping on for a while now, don’t want nothing crazy but would love to be in the highest part of natural range / maybe slightly higher than that

Could I run like a TRT dose for this for a couple months and seen how I find it?

Could I safely stay on it like that if regular bloods show as ok and I don’t have sides?

What happens when I go away on holiday for 2 weeks and I’m using UGL’s?

Thanks

Sub Q .20ml? Starting TRT

Starting TRT low dose at 80mg. Considering doing twice a week pins, using a 29 1/2” at .20ml twice a week. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is this a bad way to start? I’ve heard it takes time to reach steady state, but just curious on protocols or experience with this.

21M, total testosterone around 8 nmol/L on 3 morning tests

Hi everyone,

I’m 21 years old, 190cm tall, 83KG, body fat around 20% and honestly, I never even considered that I could have low testosterone until my doctor tested it. I originally went to him because of weaker erections.

Since then, I started reading more about testosterone, and I realized that I may have had a lot of symptoms for a long time without connecting the dots.

My total testosterone has been around 8 nmol/L on multiple morning blood tests. My doctor considers it “okay” because it is technically still within the lab reference range, but it is right at the lower end, and for a 21-year-old it seems very low to me.

Some of the things I struggle with:

  • weaker erections
  • lower libido than I would expect
  • poor sleep
  • feeling mentally drained in the evenings
  • low energy and motivation
  • forgetting things way more than I think is normal for my age
  • poor muscle gain and recovery
  • losing muscle/fullness very quickly if I don’t train for a couple of weeks
  • difficulty staying lean, especially fat around the belly

I do lift and I’ve had periods of very solid discipline with training, diet and sleep, but I never achieved the results I expected. I always blamed it on genetics, discipline or stress. I also blamed my low energy and lack of motivation on getting older or just “adult life.”

I want to be clear: I’m not trying to beg a doctor for TRT just because of muscle gain. This is mainly about quality of life. At the same time, fertility is a very big concern for me, so I’m honestly unsure what the right move is.

I’ve read stories from men who went from around 8 nmol/L to 20–25 nmol/L and said the difference was huge in terms of energy, mood, libido, recovery, confidence and overall life quality. That makes me wonder how much of what I’ve been experiencing could actually be related to low testosterone.

For men who had similar low levels, especially at a younger age, how much did your life actually change after getting your testosterone into a proper range?

Did anyone manage to improve from around 8 nmol/L to 20+ nmol/L without direct TRT, for example with hCG, clomiphene/enclomiphene, lifestyle changes or treating the root cause?

And for those who started TRT while wanting kids in the future, how did you handle fertility concerns?

I’d appreciate honest experiences and advice. I’m not trying to rush into anything, but I also don’t want to ignore something that could be seriously affecting my quality of life.

Results from 2nd bloodwork after being on TRT for 4 months.

I need to get them redone, I did an injection the day before so my levels were probably way off due to it spiking.

I do Monday, Wednesday Friday SubQ (35/30/35) so 200mg a week.

Starter levels were 237 in April.

Level from bloodwork test showed 1847.

Anything else look way off besides liver enzymes? Thank you! 😊

More tired since taking T

Started trt about 5 months ago. My T when checked was up to about 1100-1300 range. Is that too much? I’m gaining muscle but so tired some days I don’t even want to workout.

HCG and brain fog/fatigue

I started my first 8 weeks of trt (100-120mg) without HCG just to see the effects of testosterone by itself. Everything was great so in added 200 IUs of HCG 3x per week hoping to maintain function until I try to conceive next year.

With the HCG I’ve just been so exhausted to the point it detracts from the benefits of the trt. I dropped down to 100 IUs 3x per week hoping to titrate back up as my body adapts, but it doesn’t seem to be working like that. I can’t imagine doing thousands of IUs per week of this when I’m actively trying to conceive.

My prescribing clinic gave me gonadorelin but based off what I’ve read I just went with HCG from UGLs

I’ve seen other posts here about the same thing, and I’m wondering if anyone has found a workaround to this issue. DIM? Gonadorelin until I want a kid? Even less HCG? I’d appreciate any insight you all have. Thanks

Would you Diagnose TRT? (26M)

Went to a TRT clinic. I personally think that I need to get on TRT and the clinic agreed, but I told myself that I'd give it some more thought before committing. Just want some input from anyone who knows what they're talking about.

I tried Testosterone about 4 years ago and have kinda had health issues ever since. Was only on it for 8-12 weeks at a decently high dose, felt kinda shitty on it and got off. No PCT but my pituitary values have always been fine, so I don't think Clomid would do anything. I think I probably have primary hypogonadism and my other health issues are a result of that.

My triglycerides are very high (7.34 nmol/L) but this was nonfasting and a very recent development. I think it is a result of my inability to tolerate exercise, but I eat fairly clean. HDL cholesterol is 0.90 nmol/L, slightly low.

LH 5.5 IU/L (1.3 - 9.6)
FSH 13 IU/L (1-16)

TESTOSTERONE 9.2 NMOL/L (7.6-31.4)

PROLACTIN 13 ug/L (<18)
ESTRADIOL 62 (<159 pmol/L)
FREE TESTOSTERONE 273 (160-699 pmol/L)

HGH timing questions

Just wondering what people do for HGH if you take it in the AM, I am currently on cjc/ipa but am switching to HGH. With cjc/ipa I wake up at 440am and do an injection immediately, then do fasted cardio about 10 minutes later for 30 minutes. I then wait an hour to eat, can I do this with HGH or do I need to stay fasted for longer? I tried taking the cjc/IPA at night but it messed with my sleep, so I’m assuming that will happen with hgh as well.

On TRT, Looking to add either Reta or Anavar

Hello,

I've been on TRT for about 6 months now, and it's been working great. I'm on 120mg per week of 200mg/ml Testosterone Enanthate. I inject every other day, 0.2ml. I'm currently at around 238lbs, 5'11". Over the past 2 years, I've lost over 220 lbs (was about 460lbs at my highest). I'm looking to cut back around 25-30 more lbs. Currently sitting at approximately 25-28% body fat. I go to the gym and lift weights, around 6 sometimes 7 days a week. I get my cardio in, and get around 15,000 steps per day.

My diet is in check now from the past two years, as I am still losing body fat, but looking to kind of jump start to the end of the line now.

I've been doing some research for both Anavar and Retatrutide, and not sure what the better course of action would be for me.

Thank you for all the advice.

Fertility stack on TRT

Hey guys,

I am on 125 mg TRT (2x 62,5mg a week).

My wife and I am planning on getting a child. I have started 2 weeks ago with 400 IU HCG (Mo, Wed, Fr).

Does it makes sense to add enclomiphene?

Btw. I will stay on TRT.

First TRT injection dose?

Hello all. I just had my first TRT injection this morning. My Total T was 252ng/dl, and Free T was 5.2 ng/dl prior to starting. They initially wanted to start me at 180-200mg per week(only way my insurance covers it), but I asked if I could start lower and see how how it goes at my 5 week follow up. I started at 120mg. Now I’m overthinking it, did I start to low? After it shuts off my natural production is that dose going to move the numbers much? I’m a 45 year old male, 5’10”, 205lbs for reference. Anybody start somewhere similar? Thanks a bunch, this sub has really helped me in being able to advocate for myself with these docs.

Where is everyone going for TRT?

Not looking for the cheapest but something that is safe and affordable with what is needed like blood work etc.. I looked at bolt health after watching a YT video and was kinda suprised by the cost of 300 per month plus the trt?... https://bolt.health/pricing

Post Injection Swelling

I have been on TRT for 6 months through a clinic. I decided to escape the clinic for a cheaper alternative. My SubQ injections have never bothered me until switching to a reliable Grey Market source. I have a golf ball or larger lump that is hard and irritated even 5 days post injection. It is 250mg/ml MCT Test Cyp. Am I allergic to MCT? I inject EOD at .2ml.

What are some signs of infection?

If photos are allowed I will follow up with those in the comments. Thanks for the help.
