What’s an average price for a 20 panel (9 kW) REC 460W and 2 Tesla powerwall 3 system? I’m getting quotes 55-60k which I feel like is overpriced. Any recommended solar contractors?
how fast are solar contractors or Tesla contractors at replacing PW3s? i heard in the past it was slow because of PW3 shortage but is it still like that?

I'm getting in range of 55K-60K. I'm upgrading to a 400 A panel so they said i need a gateway. I feel like this is quite expensive, please let me know if I'm wrong

do you think 20 panels (460 W REC) is too much? 3000 sq ft house. This is a 9.2 kw system. what do you think is a reasonable system size.
we don't have an EV but will likely buy a hybrid in the coming years.
the house is fully electric and we are pretty conservative on using electricity. $200-300 PG&E bills in our previous house with both gas and electric and poor insulation.
from my preliminary research, it looks like tesla powerwall 3 is more efficient than enphase 10c.
My main concern is "redunancy". my solar consultant quoted 1 PW3 and 1 expansion battery, but if the PW3 dies, then for some time none of the solar will work.
However, if enphase 10c dies. (assume i have 3), then the other 2 will work.
is it better to get 2 PW3 rather than 1 PW3 and 1 expansion battery?

I live in a house with terrible insulation built in the 70s. How is the insulation in new construction now with Title24? Esp for those who have moved into new constructions, do you feel yourself using AC/Heat as much as you used to?
