Windshield replacement

I got a huge fracture on my windshield and need to get it replaced. I’ll be going through insurance but I’m wondering if anyone has changed their Q6’s windshield before ? Anything to look out for? Tips?

I’m located in the northern Va area, so any suggestions/ vendors would be extremely appreciated.

I haven’t gotten the MF or Residual as of right now from the dealer, but wanted to check with the wider community whether it would be better to get this (obv negotiate down) 5 series or the X5.
