Got the KD2 a few weeks ago and had a few other glitches pop up - traffic signs, central locking, WIFI, etc. Guessing we’ll have to go in for a KD3 that still isn’t OTA?

“Hello, I have great news. We did hear back from the Audi technical assistance team and we did have to do a small software update on the card. However there is a larger software update that is set to come out before the end of the second quarter of this year that will fix most of the issues on the car. Currently, we’ve just done a temporary fix on the vehicle, but I am getting everything buttoned up and the car will be ready to pick up tomorrow anytime that works for you.”

Where is everyone buying their replacement blades from? OEM from local dealer? I’m not seeing too many aftermarket ones that fit.

I think my dealer charged me $95 for the front set last time that I needed them, which is crazy expensive.

Being a 2025 with the new SFD2 encryption, is there any scan tools out there besides OEM? Seems to violate the right to repair. Looking at the 10k service, its just visual inspection + cabin air filter.

I think these things are unrelated.

But CarPlay hasn’t been working. So I tried to remove my phone. Turns out Bluetooth in the car is deactivated. And the “function is unavailable” when I try and turn it on. Can’t remove the phone unless BT works apparently. So stuck there. Rebooted MMI with same result. Anyone have a fix?

Car seems really excited and throws a warning every 5 minutes that there is a charger malfunction and only the left charger is available. Which is totally fine. That’s the one I use 95% of the time. But now the left charger door just opens every other day while I’m driving. Need to get out and close it. Anyone seen this?

Is Audi doing OTAs and screwing everything up? I can’t sort out in my head why this stuff changes randomly unless that’s the case. Car was pretty much on the rails for awhile after KD2.

From the stories here, I can see that there have been many issues with the software.

I was considering to lease a new model, 2026/2027 model of these cars, and dealers telling me that the issues are fully fixed in the 2026/2027 models.

Anyone has an input or experience with the new models, or knows if the software issues theoretically would be fixable without a new platform.

I haven't been able to remotely start the climate control on my Q6 for at least a month now. I have the most current version of the myAudi app. I can lock and unlock the doors from the app, but I get an E:CVPA.5 error.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

I’m so tired of her saying this that I curse her now after she’s said it. LOL!

Anyone figured out yet how to stop her from speaking? I turned down her volume to “0” and it returns to regular volume. She’s literally going to drive me crazy.

For those of you that don’t have the passenger display, can you share your experiences with using the MMI?

My wife always fiddles with music and the screen being curved away from her seems pretty difficult, so I’d love to hear if this is actually a problem.

Secondly, if possible, can someone share pictures of their dashboard without the display? It seems pretty odd and I haven’t been able to find any decent real photo’s online.

I purchased a CPO 2025 Q6 Quattro with around 8k miles a few months ago. My service indicator light just came on saying the car is due for service soon. From what I read, the 10k service involves the dealer checking various components for wear and possibly updating the software— that’s it. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so I assume this will cost around $1,000. Seems like a waste of time and money, but if I skip the service, I am worried my Audi warranty will be voided. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance.

Car is prone to software glitches, previously had a Tesla Y, three years not one issue. So far had glitches with Windows, tailgate and Sat Nav. All fixed thanks to advice on this forum rather than having to wait 6 weeks for an appointment at the main dealers. Generally fixed with a reboot, in the case of the Sat by having to yank the fuse out for an extended period.

I’m getting a Q6 etron Corporate S beginning of next month as company car. I spent the last 10 years on BMW S5, X5 and currently S5 touring (all Diesel/Hybrid) all recent when I get them and standard options were very good. Except for X5 where I had the opportunity to get a demo one full options during covid.

Is there anything that strike you when you did similar move, specifically in terms of reliability and standards options performance? In BMW the semi-Autonomous driving for instance is very reliable and all the security tech around saved me more than once.

I also do at least a long trip (1500/2000 km) across Europe each year, if you have done this with this car what was your experience with reliability and charging?!

Love the car and have had a few issues that seemed to always fix themselves after driving a few minutes or on the next drive....yesterday started like that...got 11 safety errors while driving to work...all basically sensor errors. Two days later, still there....taking the q6 in next week...Hopefully it isn't a long repair...maybe I can get the software update then as well.

Just looked at the new Q3 MMI with the drivers map. I sure hope they add this to the 25 Q6 models with a software update. It’s ridiculous that they don’t have it. KD3 please.

In short, trial period expired. Signed up for mobile data plan (shows active in app under subscriptions) but car isn’t connecting. Level 2 support told me it shows provisioned correctly. I tried turning mobile data off and on via toggle switch and nothing. I paid a full month of it trying to work through it and didn’t connect. Just signed up again (…expect different result phase) and still not connecting. Has anyone figured it out if it you had similar problems? Hope this is not one of those “disconnect the battery” universal resets. Help.

Will make this concise:

The good: car gets a lot of compliments, great ride quality, very quiet inside, feels like a proper luxury car in the $100k range. Love love love driving it.

The bad: infotainment system is super glitchy and phone doesn’t always connect (better now than at beginning), tire noise isn’t as low as the Tesla we have but you can replace the tires or you get used to it.

The ugly: the whole motherboard died a few months in, the car stuttered to a stop a few time and then turned into a brick. Had to get it towed. Took weeks to put a new brain in it. On the bright side they gave me a higher trim as a loaner! Ha! Been about 8 months and no more problems since the replacement.

Overall favorite car I’ve ever had, and if a trip to the shop as they work out the bugs isn’t the end of the world for you, I think it’s the best car for the price. If you want perfect convenience, maybe wait until it’s out longer and they work the bugs out. I personally don’t care about perfect convenience, I’d rather have a car I love driving every day.
