I'm doing some research on the evolution of automotive technology in India and would love to hear from actual car owners.

2025 Q6 prestige - I got upgraded to KD2* at the end of August and heard about the level 2 chargers not working. Mine worked great. Everything worked great! The trunk closed right. Error messages were gone. I was a happy camper!

Then I was looking at the myAudi app and saw the scheduling options. I read about them and changed them to avoid charging while the electric company has peak charging hours.

The next day, the circuit breaker was blown, the light at the charging door was red, and there was an error on the dash: "Charging System Malfunction! Error in the charging infrastructure. See owners manual"

I reset the car and tried all sorts of things including charging from the driver's side but the AC charging wasn't working. I drove to a high speed charger and that worked fine.

I took it to the shop and they believe it to be a hardware error but need the car for more time. They're coming to pick it up on Monday.

Has anyone experienced this? What was your experience? Was it hardware? How long to fix?

Are you still getting lots of messages warning you that various systems are unavailable? I've been getting a ton of those although they clear on their own and don't seem to impact performance. I'm still sitting with a buyback offer from Audi and if this is a sign of a serious problem, I'll likely walk away.

We’ve had the car for a little over a year and have the inspection notification popping up. Dealer wants $300 to rotate the tires and do a “multi point inspection” in order to clear the light. That feels like robbery. Any way I can clear the notification myself?

I keep doing the reset but damn am I tired of this trunk not working. Is there a permanent fix yet? I already had the kd2. Is there a kd3 or something like it. About to rip the trunk out and just have an open back.
