I think these things are unrelated.

But CarPlay hasn’t been working. So I tried to remove my phone. Turns out Bluetooth in the car is deactivated. And the “function is unavailable” when I try and turn it on. Can’t remove the phone unless BT works apparently. So stuck there. Rebooted MMI with same result. Anyone have a fix?

Car seems really excited and throws a warning every 5 minutes that there is a charger malfunction and only the left charger is available. Which is totally fine. That’s the one I use 95% of the time. But now the left charger door just opens every other day while I’m driving. Need to get out and close it. Anyone seen this?

Is Audi doing OTAs and screwing everything up? I can’t sort out in my head why this stuff changes randomly unless that’s the case. Car was pretty much on the rails for awhile after KD2.

The car was doing so well…only mild bugs after KD2.

But now for no recognizable reason native Spotify doesn’t work. Assume the interval Verizon card died.

And CarPlay won’t connect.

Is this just the central comm unit dying?

Any workarounds? Really not interested in wasting time on the Audi dealer looking at it.

(Yea…I’ve rebooted the MMI. Rebooted the phone. Removed the phone. Turned the WiFi and hotspot on/off. Turned off the 12v…etc, etc).

After KD2 my rear latch has never locked consistently (or gone up or down correctly) but I was always able to press it closed and it would latch. I left the car at home for the week and the gremlins have apparently attacked it. If I press it closed I get a soft latch but it doesn’t completely close and the car gets upset about it being open.

I’ve tried holding all the various buttons inside and outside the trunk. It beeps and thinks. But doesn’t solve the problem.

Is there a clear procedure to reset this? Does 12v reset solve it?
