Director John Whiteway captured roughly five seconds per shot using only a tiny screen for reference. His tools were an Arriflex 16mm and Angenieux lens - the same camera taken to outer space in the 1980s. John also camped out there to give him the best opportunities to capture the magic of Spirit Sands.
