Looking at CX90 Hybrid; Questioning 0-60 Consistency

I am considering a 2026 CX90 Hybrid. It's ability to scoot really counts a lot in my book. I've had some uphill onramp experiences in vehicles that can't get out of their own way, and it sucks to have your choice of pockets limited by the accelerator pedal.

I have every expectation that the impressive 0-60's I've read about stem from a torquey electric motor. So I am curious as to how much that motor depends on a full charge for a respectable on-ramping or gap shot. I have read that there are mid-drive regenerative features, but are those enough. Really, does anyone have experience with either of the two scenarios?:

  1. Fully charged at the beginning of a Saturday. Hop on the interstate no problem headed to go shopping for the day. Spend the afternoon rolling in town between a few stores. Going to get back on the interstate headed home, will I get the same on-ramp performance I got this morning?

  2. Similarly, start out on a day long car trip with a full charge, and easily onto the interstate. 300 miles in, exit for bathroom break, meal, whatever. Getting back on the interstate, will I it be just as easy?

Thank you in advance to any responses.
