Catfished
I got catfished last night. Really cute guy I was talking to for a week. He finally said let’s exchange numbers. Immediately after we started texting, he asked to go on WhatsApp. I reversed imaged his photos, sure enough, pictures were from Netherlands, same pics. He had 2 different phone numbers from California. Said he worked for JP Morgan. Had a daughter who lived with his Uncle. Things just didn’t make sense. When I started talking to him on WhatsApp, realized he was not real. I asked him to go out Saturday night, he said he had a bday party he was going to. Asked him to go out on another day and he immediately said he had plans. I finally told him he was not real and blocked him on the app and on Bumble. My question for Bumble is, his profile said that his pictures were verified. How do they get that far on their profiles?
