I have a Spirit flight booked (and fully purchased using the Amex platinum), returning home, on Sunday. Supposedly they are ceasing operations tonight (3AM Saturday morning). When I go to the trip on Spirit’s site, it shows the trip will still be happening.

What is the best course of action? If I purchase a ticket on another airline, will it be covered by the Amex trip interruption insurance?
