Lorus RG877CX9, not feeling it

Lorus RG877CX9
- 85€ + 10€ delivery from the UK
- 36mm width
- 8mm thickness
- Seiko VJ32 movement
- Seiko Hardlex Mineral Glass
- Titanium case and back
- 100m water resistance
- Date window
- Lume on the hands (no Lumibrite on the dial)
- 18mm lug width

This watch used to be 50€ (40£) a few years ago.

I don't feel it, mainly the dial, it's just too flat, has no texture, feels like a printed sticker on a piece of cardboard.

I got this one after returning a faulty Timex Expedition Scout on Vinted, and I like it less. Even though the dial on the Timex wasn't much more textured, maybe it looked better cause it was bigger on a black background ?

Thinking of returning the Lorus and getting a Timex Expedition Field Post Solar instead.
- 135€
- 41mm width
- 12mm thickness
- Timex M10K movement / Seiko Epson Caliber AS32A
- Sapphire Crystal
- Stainless Steel case
- 100m water resistance
- Date Window
- 20mm lug width

Timex Expedition Scout

What is going on with the surface of this watch

This is a Timex Expedition I bought from Vinted, got it really nasty and cleaned it well. There's those little black spots on the surface, they're each a little hollow. Reminds me of the marks rust taken off with vinegar leaves behind.

Anything I can do to remove them ?

I will end up coating the whole thing with linseed oil to protect it after it's all cleaned.

Here's what I'm looking for : grabbing a window by the title bar or in the overview, and have it follow you when using the scrollwheel to change workspaces.

I know you can by dragging them in the little rectangles in the overview but it's a little tedious, and flexibility is always a plus.
