Our washer is only about 4 years old. For the last year hasn't gotten a TON of use as our last kiddo moved out & leaves just Hubby & I.

Doing laundry the other day & it started making this weird noise.

Filter is clean, nothing in there.

Tried an empty rinse drain cycle & didn't do it.

Tried another load and it did it again.

*Of note* recently put on sliders. Haven't done TOO many loads since we did this

Sent video to a tech at the store we bought it in & they said it is a fatal sound. Hubby doesn't want to pay them $150 just to come out & confirm...... & have them say it will cost another $500 for parts & labor so we are half way to a new washer.
