I bought this game on May 15th, its now may 20th and i have put 60 hours into it. i do not need help, i am exactly where i want to be.
On this note heres my cursed power plant setup that i made when i realised 200% sunlight = 200% profit. i AM the producer of energy cells in this galaxy.
I found a plot in Void Of Opportunity, that i built my factory here to mine. and another one above in black hole sun 4, they were farming here 5 hours ago, but now wont.
but recently my miners have been going to second contact VII to get ore and silicon, i thought at first it was because the HOP who im at war with are here with 1 factory, so i made a global rule to stop them going into second contact 2 flashpoint, but now they are going to black hole sun 4 and other systems?!?!
Am i losing my mind, why wont they go farm the 1/2 a sector over that has 4 stars in ore AND Silicon, but will go to fuck off nowhere where its 1/2 star instead? v confused, some screenshots for settings:
So i have now constructed 2 stations (yay) one is a power plant, generating energy credits & selling them, v simple.
The other is not. I have built a refined goods station, making refined metals and silicon wafers, i have access to a L miner,
Im also building a energy cell production on it, to never have to import energy cells. heres my issue,
I want to restrict all BUYS to the station, so i can self supply
But i want to allow all SELLS, so AI can come buy metals/wafers, and i can also take that product and sell it via freighters,
But i want to be the only person who can sell me ore/silicon at this station, i want my miner to do that.
How can i achieve this?
I set up a trade rule that blacklists all factions but from me trading, but that prevents the sell part of my scenario?
Is it possible?
New player here as like every post, about 20 hours into the game, i started young gun and am sticking with the argon space heavily, I've got myself so far:
- 2 x L mining ships, making ore runs from void of opportunity to auto-mine, getting 232k credits each per 20/30 minutes.
- 4 M Freighters, 3 on autotrade, 1 running graphene 24/7, making a solid steady income, & leveling pilots up, plans for a 5th to do that graphene run too,
- I've been fighting the holy order since the start, i've got lucky and stolen 2 Gorgon Sentinel's from them, thats my main battle fleet
-Currently im just roaming around with 2 gorgons doing missions and fighting to level up pilots,
I've done the whole quest line for the trade union, vs the pirates.
I tried to go to heretics end to get the station to spawn as i saw in some videos, but nothing happened, so im kind of lost on what to do now. im making a decent amount of money, but the cost of ships is still so expensive it takes me 1/2 hours to get credits to buy another one,
Any tips on what to do next, feel like i have a solid grasp and a good starting foundation, want to get my own station to produce silicon wafers, i was mining silicon before in huge amounts but could never find enough buyers for it, so swapped to ore.
