hey y'all trying to solve a mystery and need some help with, i have a 1986 nj bich that im in the process of refinishing and restoring, the original owner told me that the neck was broken at some point and they replaced it with the one on it currently but the problem is that even though the neck appears to be the right era it's too skinny for the neck pocket and the previous owner shimmed it to make it fit but they also busted out the piece of wood above the neck pickup to make it fit, does anyone know where i can find or atleast what guitar to look for to find a neck that would fit properly?

I always wondered what this extra skin is and why is it there? Yes It’s always been there i was born this way.
Guessing it’s vaginal hypertrophy because my labia are also larger than normal. That extra skin always sticks out in a triangle shape.
