Another solution for Tinnitus that needs tester

Hi

I have tinnitus and developed a suite of research backed therapies and I would appreciate having others test it and see if it can help them. Free and open source. And no premium version to buy to unlock all the features. You get everything.

My payback is maybe helping someone else learn to line with their tinnitus.

I've been using the notch therapy for about a month and it seems to help. But I know it will take more time for it to retrain my brain.

So please give it a try. No App to download. Easy, just go to

https://tinnitus.trahreg.com

No cookies. Or any personal data leaves your device. There is a simple onboarding process to make sure you use it safely. Even your device gets checked to ensure you don't have performance issues. For those that want more details, you can read or print the user manual. Just click the 'Help' and look for the PDF.

The plus of using a website is it works on any device, PC or Mac, that has a browser. All you need are headphones to use.

So please give it a try and let me know what you like and what does not work. You can post it here or in the 'Feedback' link under 'Help'.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Tasker help with closing open app at start

Hi

I was in the final stage of finishing my voice control of my hearing aid app, when I was testing and had left the HA app open. To my surprise, it didn't launch the app as new but instead hung on the still open page.

I have tried everything that won't require root access or special permissions. Has anyone run into anything like this? Ideas. Solutions.

Killing spp. Stayed hung. Etc

Thanks for any help.

Signia Silk or Insio IX owner

Hi

I just got my Insio hearing aids that they ordered with a memory button. As I know now there is no button. The only way to change any setting is through the phone app. And I didn't plan on carrying my phone everywhere either. But taking it out every time is a pain.

That said, since I have to carry it, I am in the process of developing an app that allows you to control all the features offered by these aids via Voice. The plan is to use it with the phone and my watch. Currently, I have a working prototype, so I know it is possible. I also plan to provide a program mode change automation based on the current noise and wind sounds heard by your phone or watch. But that is presently on the Wish list.

Does anyone else have interest in it. And how much is it worth? Are there other features you would like?

Tasker using AutoVoice

Hi

I've been working on a tasker project where I need to read the noise levels in dB from my Pixel 9a phone and Pixel 3 watch to be used in additional processes.

I've added the plugin Autovoice, noise and checked ambient noise detection but don't have a clue what to do to get the value returned.

Can someone please provide some details on what I should do next. A sample task maybe.

Signia CIC charge and go and Signia Silks

Hi

I've had my Signia CIC aids for about three weeks and the only problem I'm having is I have to carry my phone if I want to change the program.

I confirmed that you can't get a memory button, as they call it, on any of their CIC or Silk aids. Even though mine were ordered to have them. They suggested to just order their remote control device. Just as dumb as always having to have your phone handy.

So my question is how are other users handling this issue.

It really seems they should be able to change themselves, based on the surrounding noise level for what they cost.

Thanks.
