Why do some reddit users have no comments or post history on the user page when I am literally reading one of their posts/comments in a thread page?

Like...

They have a post, they are actively commenting on it, an account for years, yet they have no history when you click on their name and go to their page...

What gives?

LPT: Don't take pictures of your tape measure dimensions when selling things online.

Taking a picture of your tape measure, measuring something is pointless.

1... In most cases it doesn't help prove size(ie... extremely close up to read the number but can't see the whole tape or too far away to read it)

2.. And depending on camera angle can be misleading.

3... we can't tell if you are measuring height width or depth

Just measure it accurately and list the dimensions and denote height, width, depth.

Tldr... unless you are selling a tape measure, don't take a picture of it

Silicone or sno seal for waterproofing modern tent fly?

Long story short, back in the day we always waterproofed our tent seams with sno seal. Worked great.

Does anyone still do this with tents in 2026. Or is it "better" to use silicone sealant?

Obviously not flying with fuel/will buy when landed.

We do some farther out trips that we fly to then rent a car. If we plan to be car camping and day hiking we'll bring the camping stove. Looking to upgrade(get a smaller more portable stove)

Should I go white gas or stick with 1lb propane cylinders? Generally not super cold when we do our trips but 32deg mornings is common and anything is possible.

Aside from better cold performance not sure which would be better or worse
