
I released a bugfix mod!
Hi I'm here to shill my mod I released 2 months ago and updated the other day!
It is an extremely limited-scope mod focusing on what are imo the bare essential fixes for the game with 0 additional fluff or config. It contains the following fixes:
- Jetpack particles (and a couple other sources) sometimes have malformed height
- Spells to Power can sometimes crash
- >!Sungems can stop working if you deload them!<
- Various issues with translations (general stuff like missing/incorrect translations)
- With Russian support by Rakaikkia on Noitacord
- Wands being permanently blue/black when you're frozen/electric stunned and switch off them
- Empty death messages (separate from invalid death messages)
- >!Second crystal key not working if one crystal key already took in a music machine song!<
- Third perk sometimes fails to load in if the game reloads after entering Holy Mountain
- >!Game doesn't detect the mountain altar properly when completing the work there if more than one is loaded!<

- Some wands do not have a proper spin animation (mostly in the first level)
- Progress for Spells and Perks are sometimes not saved correctly after a crash
- Can't fix enemies due to API limitations, sorry!
- >!Amulet Gem is not properly granted when starting a new game if the run has been modded!<
The mod can be found on GitHub, Steam and Modworkshop.
This mod is somewhat inspired by the QoL Mod by Letaali, and mostly by the fact there are no other proper bugfix mods out there and QoL Mod has additional stuff that a player might rather not have + it's not very findable by people who are looking for a bugfix mod who don't already know it.
If you're interested in the bugs themselves or how I fix them btw, you can read the code! I fully annotated everything and over-explained what's going on and how it works and why to the best of my abilities, so feel free to give the code a read, it's really quite simple for most of the fixes!
