At the beginning of S9E1, Rick seemed genuinely excited to talk about what he was making

To me, it almost feels like poetic irony that Morty had used interest in Rick’s creation as a way to see who he was texting and ends up getting jealous of Evil Morty for being more on Rick’s level of science; but he probably could have engaged in a somewhat meaningful scientific conversation with Rick about the alcohol machine he was working on and bond with him on science through that.

Theoretically, couldn’t Rick be with Diane in this way?

What if he just does to himself what he did to memory Rick and have himself live with memory Diane forever? We saw that non memory Rick and memory Diane can exist in proximity to each other in the scene where he removes the memory, so wouldn’t he be able to just live in a memory ant farm with memory Diane while his really body is permanently nonfunctional? I get that it would be selfish to abandon his family like that, but I’m surprised he hadn’t thought to do this in the many years before he decided to join Prime’s family.

Regarding guys who see themselves in Bear…

I see a lot of people online saying how awful it is that there are men who see themselves in Bear when watching the film, and while I completely agree that it’s a bad thing to see yourself in someone so sociopathic, abusive, and cowardly, isn’t it also part of the point of the film to be a sort of “wake up call” to men? To demonstrate that any man could be like this, to encourage men to look at themselves and be aware of their capacity to have similar characteristics to Bear (even if not as bad all the time), and ultimately inspire these men to work on themselves as a result in order to avoid being like Bear?

I understand that many men who see themselves in Bear take it as an opportunity to defend Bear rather than look critically at themselves, and that that’s shitty, but I feel like the act of seeing oneself in the villain doesn’t have to be a bad thing if you are emotionally mature enough to improve on yourself as a result.

I just realized something

The chapter 5 end credits scene is probably Kris “closing their eyes and thinking about what Susie’s doing,” because how else would we be able to see that? It helps to further show how much they’ve grown to care for Susie, the fact that they deliberately wanted to see what she was doing.

Assuming Anarchism is opposed to this, what are Anarchist/Leftist arguments against the United States jury system?

Given that Leftists (like myself) are staunchly opposed to the U.S. justice system, I assume that means we are against the jury system too, but why? It’s allowing for there to be input from the average citizen on a case, and feels to me like a decent community-based way of coming to conclusions on a case, which I understand to be the general direction Anarchy would be taking dealing with crime. I understand there could be issues with jury selection, and biases within the jury depending on who is picked, but are there any fundamental issues with the system that I am missing?

Permanent trauma is actually crazy good for MBlade

I was using him with this affix on and he ults wayyy more often when his max hp is lower, due to him constantly reaching that 5% threshold from consuming his own hp.
