Our twins have been named!
Despite it taking longer than we would like, our babies are no longer nameless, which I'm sure they can be happy about 😂
I had made several posts about this during my pregnancy, and afterwards, and we decided to go with the feeling and use the first names Emily and Nynne. While I was definitely set on the middle name Lærke with Emily, it was harder to decide the middle name for Nynne, hence the delay. But we finally decided on the one that we are happy with.
These are the names we chose:
Emily Lærke
Nynne Margrethe
Lærke, as you can probably guess, means lark and is pronounced as Lair-Keh. And Margrethe is the Danish form of Margaret, and is pronounced as Mar-Gray-Deh. They each have a nature meaning, a type of bird and a pearl, and I thought that was sweet, and we didn't actually realise it when we decided on it! So that made it feel extra right.
