My wife and I are arriving in Vienna this Friday around noon and staying in District 1. It’s our first time in Austria, and we decided to start our trip there before heading to Italy.

We have Saturday for a full-day trip and are considering Wachau Valley + Dürnstein. Ideally start morning and be back by 6 or 7 pm

Would you recommend this, or is there another day trip from Vienna that we shouldn’t miss? Also, any recommendations for a good small-group tour or private driver, and where to book?

I’m a Canadian, non-resident living in Dubai and own 3 rental properties in Canada.

Every year my accountant prepares my Section 216 / T1159 return, consolidating the income and expenses from all 3 properties. I don’t do monthly/quarterly withholding.

I’d like to do it myself this year.

For anyone who has actually done this themselves:
What forms/software did you use?
How did you file the T1159?
Any tips or things I should watch out for?
Looking for practical experience from people who have done their own non-resident rental return. Thanks!

بدي نصيحه من حدا جرب شركات الرعايه المنزليه لكبار السن. والدي عمره قريب ٩٠ و عنده زهايمر متقدم. أنا باتنقل بين ٣ دول لظروف عملي. و هو عادة بيكون معي او بيبقى في بيتي لحد ما ارجع لانه ما في أقارب في البلد بيقدرو يديرو بالهم عليه خلال سفري.

الوالد عنده بيت مستقل، ولكن طلعته يسكن معي من كم سنه بعد وفاة الوالده، وصار يسافر معي ولكن حاليا المرض وصل مرحله متقدمه والأطباء نصحوني اخليه يستقر في مكان واحد يكون مألوف اله. صرت افكر اخليه يرجع يستقر في بيته بس يكون معه ممرض او مرافق ٢٤ ساعه خلال سفري، و أنا اقعد عنده لما اكون في البلد. في حدا جرب شركات الرعايه المنزليه لهيك حاله و شو تنصحوني؟
