Is an aching gums and sore jaw Normal day 6

Day 0 to 4 i barely had any pain . But day 5 I had started working and talking more and stop taking Tylenol or ibuprofen. Now on day 6 my jaw has this constant ache going it’s not a deep ache it’s like irritation in my gums that kinda makes my jaw feel sore. It’s def aching enough to where I’m thinking of getting back on some painkillers. Other than that though no real swelling or pus or hot to touch is happening.

Seems like things like talking smiling and swallowing makes it achey.

Is this something that is normal ?

Wisdom tooth anxious about infection

TL;DR:How common is Post Op infections & how can I avoid this ?

I have read & listened to a lot of wisdom teeth stories on YouTube and on Reddit and I am pretty nervous about getting my bottom 2 wisdom teeth out tomorrow. They are fully grown in with a little bit of gums flap above it but it does have cavities and local gum disease by it. I know it should most likely be a smoother process than it being impacted. I have seen a lot of stories about infections happening post op despite doing everything right. Is post op infections common? Anything I can do that’s in my control? I am kinda fixated on it because I have to go out of a town the week after my surgery & when I come back I have to start a new job so want to have a very smooth process

Diagnoses Correct?

Hi I am 23 years old. Male. I don’t smoke or drink

I have been having wisdom tooth problems with my gums being very inflamed and causing aches in my mouth and just a fullness filling

1.) Does these wisdom tooth look like they could fit the D7240 code, I saw the code means the tooth is trapped inside my jawbone. To me these look fully grown but I am being charged for Extraction-Impact/Compl Bony which is D7240. So could these in anyway be considered D7240s ?

  1. If it is not D7240 then is it possible I could change it to an another dental code ? If so what’s the process of doing that?

Is this an abscess or pericoronitis?

Age : 23M

I have been dealing this bump since last night. This is on my fully erupted wisdom tooth & that bump part feels soft but it’s a flap that I could slide up with a Q tip. It currently doesn’t have any fluid and while it doesn’t hurt on a touch. It certainly can get irritated if I mess with it too much.

My question is if this is an abscess or pericoronitis?

I plan on making an appointment with my dentist on Tuesday if it doesn’t go down by Monday and trying to figure out if I should prepare myself for an extraction or a cleaning & antibiotic treatment.

This started after eating Carmel ice cream cone last night before I went to bed I had brush my teeth but I woke up 2 hours later and when I yawning I realized my tooth felt very inflamed for like 5 min in my jaw. I have to add I been eating a lot of sweets lately hard candies & ice cream the past 4 days

When I lay down it seems to get irritated a bit as well but it doesn’t seem like the regular abscess with the pus and the reddish pimple look.

Thank you for helping
