I expected more songs from everyone’s a star to make the setlist, and expected more than 1 5sos5 song to survive the setlist. They keep putting ancient songs on it, which i get that they feel like they have to because that’s what people expect, but when else are we going to get a chance to hear EAS songs live other than the EAS tour? NEVER. And that’s very clear from the 5sos5 treatment on the tour.

Their new albums are so much better than their old ones, but for the sake of nostalgia and the general public, those are sacrificed on the setlist.

They got rid of waste the night but replaced it with don’t stop. It should have been replaced with an EAS song on the EAS tour.

I think real hardcore fans would have LOVED to hear more new songs, let’s be honest so so so many of the old songs could be cut and people would get over it pretty fast, and they’d actually be able to play the new music that they worked on and that fans love rather than the old stuff they’ve been playing for a decade.

If they continue to cater to the nostalgia then they will be stuck in an endless cycle of playing mainly old songs, some from the album they’re touring, and 1 or 2 from the albums before, which won’t be good in the long run.

This could be controversial as i know lots of fans love the nostalgia of old 5sos but come on.

The guys are going to lose fans with the way they’re going.

I’ve seen posts about people leaving the fandom and not getting tickets to future tours because of how this tour is going and the fact it’s not being addressed.

At the start of tour it was uk Irish fans not getting solo songs, and the outrage that came after the guys said they just didn’t practice enough as if they know the lyrics anyways.

And now I am seeing so many people upset about the solo segment being taken away, if they did this because they didn’t think enough people were singing along, then this is them trying to cater the show to casual fans who probably don’t even know they have solo albums rather than using it to give the hardcore fans a chance to hear solo songs live that they will probably never get a chance to hear elsewhere as solo tours don’t seem likely. It’s also taking away the possibility for casual fans to hear a solo song and get hooked.

There’s a whole video segment leading up to what was solosos, and they’ve kept those clips in the show but taken out the solo songs, which means the videos about breaking up don’t really make sense anymore. It was a huge part in the storytelling of the concert. And cutting it midway through the tour with no explanation makes no sense.

I get that live shows are never guaranteed and tend to be a bit unpredictable, but having a planned secret song segment and just not rehearsing (literally their job) and casually admitting that they didn’t bother rehearsing because they know a lot of their fans glaze them and think they can do no wrong, cutting a vital section of the show and not knowing lyrics in soundcheck/the concert is insane. Yes everyone jokes about them not knowing their own lyrics, but be serious how are you a decade and a half into your career and still not rehearsing for your tours that fans have paid a fortune to go to.

I love the guys the band and the music and have for a long time, but it gets to a point. It feels almost disrespectful that they don’t bother to even try and give a consistent show to all fans who have all paid a lot of money to go to a concert on this tour and expect to get the full experience and not a rehearsal or a cut down version.

I also find that a lot of the people saying that fans are being dramatic about these experiences are fans that went to shows that got the full thing, so maybe allow space for others to be upset that they didn’t get the same experience as you.

Solosos medley is now a secret song option. I’m really hoping this medley is additional solo songs rather than the 4 that were on the setlist and that they bring back the solo segment.

Solo segment was one of my favourite parts of the show i can’t believe they’d cut it! (Or even demote it to a secret song option)

I have seen lots related to A recently and wanted to see if you guys had more information.

A+sie, is that just a thing started by fans or is there anything backing it up that I missed.
Have seen a few posts saying that A brought home a girl after the clubsos dj set, is that fans trying to keep the 2014 idea of groupies around or is there truth to it. Do people genuinely believe the guyinkpen account was him and if so where did that start from because any time the accounts involved were asked they just said it’s ’been known’ to be the band for years. Where did it start that A has a gf and brought her to Sydney for Christmas. Do people actually think him and Hannah (social media manager) are together or is it a bit.
Lots of questions but if anyone has any input please let me know!

I saw that they acknowledged it once and said the reason it didn’t happen is because they didn’t rehearse enough which caused even more outrage that they casually admitted they used their shows as a practice run.

I do think it is a fair enough thing to be annoyed about, especially when you think hypothetically if they started the tour in america instead, you could guarantee that the same thing would not have happened.

It’s a bit disappointing that artists seem to constantly prioritise america.

One of the main people that was accusing Ashton is continuing to support 5sos and has gone to multiple more shows after everything happened, and is at the one tonight. Idk if this is a crazy take but if it were me and I truly(!) thought that the person behind the account was part of the band, I wouldn’t be supporting them or continuing to go to their concerts…but each to their own.

Continuing to tweet hate at A whilst simultaneously going to a bunch more of the concerts where him and his best friends are performing…ok! I think it’s a very strange situation. I don’t think they could genuinely truly completely believe that he was behind the account, say that he caused them so much trauma and pain, and then continue to pay to be in the same room as him.
