This is the official subreddit for Canadian indie musician Alex Calder. Replacing the defunct r/AlexCalder which was restricted from submissions five years ago, this subreddit serves as a forum dedicated to discussing Alex and his music's legacy.
Alex heartbreakingly passed away back on March 4th, 2026, confirmed in an update via his official Bandcamp and can be read here:
I created this subreddit to continue honoring Alex and having an open discussion where people celebrate his music, his spirit and his life. Since Alex's passing, I've attempted to upload all of his music from his entire discography on to all streaming platforms. If there's anything missing, feel free to let me know.
