I felt sorry for Wish Nikki too...
I only watched the movie once yesterday so correct me if I'm wrong, kinda late to the party but I'm open to discussion. Wish Nikki was only seeking affection while fulfilling her purpose of loving Bear, at the start the only things she wants from him is to be at the same space as him and sleep with him, she never directly or indirectly tries to have sex with him.
The biggest victim was obviously the real Nikki but many times thought the movie I felt terrible for Wish Nikki. It felt like he was taking advantage of a naive girl, taking what he wanted out of her and then making her feel like trash for trying her best. At many times it felt like she was just had demonic behaviour but every single one of her crush outs actually made sense, even the ones that real Nikki wasn't trying to get out and Wish Nikki was in full control.
The feeling that she felt bad for not loving her was genuinely justified especially if she shares some kind of consciouncess. It's like knowing something hard but not having the mental capacity to handle it, drawn to an extreme level.
